Le Pech d'Ay, under the designation Municipal Camping Service, SIRET identifier n°519 500 599 00013, attaches great importance to the protection of your personal data and respect for your private life, and is committed, in agreement with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) which came into force in all countries of the European Union since May 25, 2018, to ensure compliance with these provisions.


The purpose of this personal data protection charter is to describe how and when we collect and use certain personal data that you send to us, to meet your needs but also to always improve the quality of our services.


This charter is therefore as important for you as for us, in order to provide you with a pleasant and confident experience.
 


1. On what occasions is your data collected ?

  • when you book a stay at Pech d'Ay;
  • when you contact us.

 

2. What information is collected ?

  • Your contact details (surname, first name), your postal address, your email address, your telephone number, your date of birth, your gender, your means of payment, identity card number, license plate. 
  • Information about your accompanying persons, for whom you undertake to obtain prior consent for the communication of personal data.  
  • The information that you transmit to us directly, to book a stay, to contact us (request for contact, price or brochure), to communicate with our customer service.  
  • Exchanges carried out with us by mail, electronic messages, telephone calls or on social networks, responses to satisfaction questionnaires.  
  • Information relating to your use of our website and/or mobile application. 
  • Data collected automatically: when you browse the site, we may collect data relating to: the characteristics of the operating system, browser or devices (computer, tablet, smartphone) that you use to access our services , your location such as your IP address, your navigation path and your interactions with the content of the site, such as the pages visited, the search keywords used, or the frequency of your visits to the site.

You can choose not to provide us with certain information; however, this decision risks depriving you of some of the services and features that we offer you. Information essential to the provision of our services and functionalities is identified by an asterisk on our collection forms and stated by telephone or at reception.

3. How is my data used ?

  • To manage and validate a reservation: collect payment, confirm your reservation and send you information relating to your stay by SMS or e-mail.
  • To communicate about campsite news and our new products but also to offer you offers and personalized services.
  • To carry out technical tests in order to optimize our site, improve our tools and services in order to offer you an optimal browsing experience.
  • To respond to your requests, expectations and complaints when you use our form contact, ensure follow-up and improve customer service.
  • To collect your opinion following a stay via our satisfaction questionnaire.
  • To record and manage your participation in competitions offered on different networks (Facebook, Instagram, etc.).
  • To respect the law and respond to possible requests from legal authorities, ensure compliance with the General Terms and Conditions, notify the authorities in the event of actions contrary to the law and protect our rights in the event of harm or damage.
  • To handle your complaints: when you contact our customer service by telephone, via the contact form available on the site or via any other means made available to you (social networks, etc.), we use your data to respond to you and provide a solution to your complaint, ensure and manage the follow-up of your complaint, improve customer relations service. 
  • To ensure compliance with the law and court decisions

Your data may also be used to:

  • respond to a request from an administrative or judicial authority, a representative of the law, a court officer or comply with a court decision, 
  • ensure compliance with our general conditions of sale and this charter,
  • protect our rights and/or obtain compensation for damage that we may suffer or limit the consequences, 
  • prevent any action contrary to the laws in force, particularly in the context of preventing the risk of fraud. 

If, when booking a stay or requesting contact, you indicated that you would like to receive information (information, news and promotional offers) and personalized content, then we may use your data to communicate with you.

You can, at any time, object to our commercial communications by clicking on the unsubscribe link or by following the opposition procedure indicated on these communications, or by contacting us according to the methods described in article 8 below.

We may also use your data to send you advertising messages that may be of interest to you on third-party sites or social media platforms. Browsing data is notably collected using cookies. For more information about these cookies, see section 9.

4. Purpose of collecting your data

The data collected is used, depending on your browsing on our site or reservation platform, to carry out the following processing:

  • Management of payment transactions.
  • Customer relationship management (telephone / email). 
  • Management of your stay. 
  • Sending of targeted commercial offers by email, by mobile notifications, on social networks, on other websites or any other medium.
  • Management of customer satisfaction..
  • Establishment of statistics, analyses, selections.
  • Measurement of traffic to sites (mobile and computer) and mobile applications.
  • Setting up competitions and advertising games.

When you participate in a competition, you provide us with a certain amount of data. They are essential for your participation to be taken into account, and if applicable, for the prize to be awarded.

Furthermore, with your prior consent, we may use this data to send you information (information, news and promotional offers) and personalized content.

5. How is your data protected?

In order to protect your data, a rigorous security procedure has been put in place. The data used is encrypted and protected using the TLS (Transport Layer Security) protocol in order to manage it and transfer it safely via a secure connection on a dedicated network. Your personal data is stored in Europe. TLS is a newer, more secure version of SSL technology

6. Duration of retention of your data

  • The data transmitted directly to us as detailed in article 2 are kept for the period necessary for the purpose of their processing.
  • Browsing data is kept for a maximum period of 13 months.
  • Data relating to prospects is kept for a maximum period of 3 years from the last contact you initiated. 
  • The data relating to the identity documents that you transmit to us when you exercise your right of access or rectification are kept for a maximum period of 12 months.  
  • The information allowing the rights of opposition of the persons concerned to receive commercial prospecting to be taken into account is kept for a maximum period of 3 years from the exercise of this right.

We can delete your data upon simple request from you. However, at the end of the aforementioned deadlines, including following your deletion request, your data may be retained to meet our legal, accounting and tax obligations (e.g. obligation to retain invoices for 10 years plus the current year in accordance with article L.123-22 of the Commercial Code) and/or during the applicable limitation period and/or in the event of litigation for the duration of said procedure.

7. Security measures to preserve your data

We take every precaution to preserve the security and confidentiality of data and in particular, prevent it from being distorted, damaged, or from unauthorized third parties having access to it. In accordance with regulation 2016/679 of April 27, 2016, our subcontractors undertake to implement organizational and technical means for the security and confidentiality of your data.

8. What are your rights ?

In accordance with the law, you have the right to know the nature of the personal data collected, to access, rectify, update or delete this data. You can modify your preferences regarding the processing of your personal information (profiling, newsletter subscription, etc.), request the transfer of your information for your benefit or that of a third party.

Pursuant to articles 14 to 22 of regulation 2016/679 of April 27, 2016, any natural person using the service has the right to exercise the following rights:

  • right of access,
  • right of rectification,
  • right of opposition and erasure to the processing of one's data,
  • right of opposition to profiling,
  • right to limitation of processing, 
  • right to portability of one's data.

9. Cookie policy
